The hand Embroidery patterns on the limbs are the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread. They can be dated to the Warring States period in China ancient history.
Leather-wrapped limbs
Riser/handle color: black leather
Siyahs color: wood
Net Weight: 700g
Lightweight archery bow
Riser and siyahs material: hard Robinia wood
The hard Robinia wood has good toughness and can get rid of moths eatings.
Limbs materials: solid transparent fiberglass epoxy resin sheet
Dexterity: ambidextrous for both left and right handed shooters, no arrow rest on the riser.
This ambidextrous design makes it a fast-shooting bow.
Siyahs type: short hard siyahs with string bridges/rests
Theoretically long hard siyah bow can shoot heavy hunting arrows although the arrow speed is a bit slower. We can not see obvious difference on this bow. The string bridges can be found on many Ming bows and Manchu bows, which can increase arrow flight speed.
String Material: Nylon sewing thread
Center serving length: 10-15cm
Both center servings and endloop servings
The center servings is resistant to abrasion, and will protect the string from direct contact with your finger and nocks.
The endloop servings will keep the two sides of the loop together.
Riser grip wrap material: cow leather grip
The cow leather grip makes you shoot when hot and sweaty.
Thumb release is the best release method for this one-piece traditional bow. Mediterranean release works but is not convenient for quick horseback mounted shooting. This is a simple, nostalgic traditional bow for horseback shooting, mounted archery.
Using a stringer will be much easier to attach the bowstring, especially for beginners. You may also use the step-through method by your hand.
Please note that the actual draw weight may have +/- 2-3 lbs difference.
This package includes 1 bow with bowstring.
